QuickBilling Preferences
The QuickBilling preferences tab is where your electronic billing account is configured, enabling you to send out CMS 1500 claims electronically through QuickPractice's own servers and clearinghouse. Once these settings are configured, they should not be altered unless done so by one of QuickPractice's support technicians.! IMPORTANT: Changing settings inside QuickBilling preferences after they have been configured can disrupt your ability to send insurance claims.

Refer to the following screenshot and table as a reference for each preference and its function.

  • Host - Specify the host IP address for QuickPractice's electronic billing server.
  • Port - Specify the host port number for QuickPractice's electronic billing server.
  • Username - Enter your unique QuickBilling Username (supplied by technical support agent).
  • Password - Enter your unique QuickBilling Password (supplied by technical support agent).
  • QuickBilling Submitter ID - Enter your unique QuickBilling submitter ID (supplied by technical support agent).
  • Registration Request - Click to send a registration request for Submitter ID.
